We live in Orpington, a leafy suburb to the south east of London in Great Britain.
John was born nearby in St Mary Cray, and we moved here in 1992 after many years living in London E9 and E11. We all enjoy the combination of being so close to Kent with great transport links to London and beyond. But John does sometime pine for the city life.
You can get to our house easily by car from Junction 4 of the M25 and from London and Kent on the A21, or by taking the train to Orpington Station and then catching a 358 bus.
