My ancestors were French - the de Rohans moved to Ireland at the time of the French Revolution - so I think that a love of France must be in my genes!
We've had several family holidays to france, mainly in the South. I like the lifestyle, the food and wine, and the architecture and scenery.
I have brushed up on my 'O' level French, so I can understand the locals and even read the local paper.
I could happily emigrate tomorrow.
