play/create

At work I manage the development of an Internet software product. It's interesting, but it's a business tool and there's only so much room for being creative. Unlike Daniel Brown at play/create.

The first thing that really grabbed me was his Bits and Pieces work from 2000. It showed what a web site can be when it's not trying to sell you something.

It's hard to describe what you see (and hear) when you get there, but whatever you do have a look at the Butterflies and the new Origami.

If you like what you see you can find out more at the Design Museum and find out about Daniel's Designer of the Year award.

And for some more inspiration, check out a few more sites.
