James plays bass in Small Victories, with his friends Ewan, Nick and Dan. They got together in 2005 after the break up of High Jinks. They have played a bunch of gigs around London, have a three-track demo, and a very groovy web site.
Playing bass has really broadened James' musical knowledge. Now he listens to Jazz, Funk and even Soul along with the Rock.
Once he's made his millions and put us all up in a country house somewhere, you can always say that you knew him back in the early days.
